![]() The Export/Import Presets window will appear, and you will see two columns. ![]() Two questions (assuming I am right about where these details are saved): (1) Which specific sub-folders do I want to save as backups for these settings (or do I just copy the whole C1 22 folder, which for me is about 1. Capture One Styles and Presets are easy ways to give your images the look you want or get to a good starting point for your editing with just one click. Go to the top menu bar and click Edit then Presets then Export/Import Presets. The next time you start Capture One, it will find these automatically no import is required. Are they somewhere in the C1 folder on c:\windows\program Files\Capture One\Capture One 22? This, however, is the main program (as opposed to data) repository with lots of mysteriously named sub-folders, and messing with this stuff without guidance makes me nervous. On the destination computer, you can paste the Styles & Presets from the original computer to those same paths. After experimenting with a personalized workspace and a few shortcuts, which do not transfer to computer #2 with the catalog and/or sessions when I back them up, I assume those are all saved somewhere else. Keeping data files (the master catalog as well as the individual sessions) backed up is pretty straightforward copy-and-replace of specific folders, and up to now I have not tried to personalize the C1 interface itself. C1 is therefore installed identically on both machines, along with external add-ons like Paul Reiffer's Elevation styles. You can copy presets between machines from there. But if you want the presets so you can use them in Console instances or for use in other daws, the UAD presets are stored in Library>Application Support> Universal Audio > Presets. No need to uninstall or deactivate as the plugins and PT you have are all ILOK licensed. Saving plug-in presets let you recall them in any Logic project. Just install all of them on your new computer and install ilok license manager aswell and just connect your ilok key into the new Mac. My tests were restricted to Nuendo 4.3 and the path is C: Users UserName AppData Roaming Steinberg Nuendo 4. ![]() My set-up: I run C1 on a laptop, and I have everything backed up identically (meaning the software with all updates and settings, as well as the data files) on a second laptop and a second remote hard drive. Re: How do I transfer my current Pro Tools 12 to my new computer Welcome to the Community. It took me a long time to figure out how to move everything to a new computer, all the same Map of entrances and exits, equalizations and all the rest. In C1 I work with individual sessions, which ultimately I migrate to a central catalog with data files located on a remote hard drive. I use C1 v 22 (build 15.4.1, perpetual license) in Windows 10 (64).
